Vision SC60 Disc Wheelset

The Vision SC60 wheelset is a performance-oriented, aerodynamic full carbon wheelset from Vision's Service Course (SC) line. These wheels are derived directly from the high-end Metron series and developed specifically for road cyclists and triathletes looking for maximum speed and aerodynamic efficiency on flat and rolling courses, without the price tag of the absolute top segment. The set offers an excellent balance between stiffness, crosswind stability and affordability.

The construction is based on a hand-built carbon rim with a deep, aerodynamically optimised 60 mm profile. Thanks to extensive CFD analyses and wind tunnel testing, the rim cuts efficiently through the wind and generates a stable 'sail effect' in crosswinds. The SC60 series uses a classic, extremely reliable direct-pull rear hub with a redesigned, low-maintenance pawl-type mechanism and press-fit end caps, ensuring durable and smooth running.

• Weight: Approximately 1690 grams per pair (tubeless ready) for the i21 version, which is very competitive for a carbon wheelset with a deep 60 mm aero rim in this price range.
• Construction: Fully hand-built full carbon rim. Combined with 24 aerodynamic direct-pull bladed spokes front and rear, tensioned in a stiff and reliable 2:1 cross pattern.
• Rim profile: Available with an internal width of 21 mm (overall width optimised for aerodynamics) or as the newer SC60 SL version with a wider internal width of 23 mm (33 mm external).
• Rim bed (Hooked): Equipped with a traditional hooked rim edge. This makes the wheelset universally compatible with both tubeless tyres and traditional folding tyres with an inner tube.
• Tyre compatibility: Optimally matched to the modern generation of wide road tyres, with a recommended tyre width of 28 mm to 32 mm for lower rolling resistance and extra comfort.
• Hub & Drive: Direct-pull hubs equipped with 6 high-quality sealed cartridge bearings (2 front and 4 rear) that ensure minimal resistance and excellent protection against the elements.
• Axle system & Brakes: Designed for standard thru axles (12 x 100 mm front and 12 x 142 mm rear) with a reliable Center Lock disc brake mount.
• Cassette compatibility: Available with a Shimano (10-12 speed) or SRAM XDR freehub body.
