Tunap Chain Wax Ultimate Dropper Bottle/Spray

TUNAP SPORTS Chain Wax Ultimate is a chain lubricant for cyclists who want their bike chain to run smoothly and limit dirt build-up. The grease-wax matrix with additives and solid lubricants provides low friction, good adhesion and protection against corrosion. You can apply the chain wax with the spray or dose it precisely with the dropper bottle. The wax is suitable for regular chain maintenance on road bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, e-bikes and city bikes, among others. After applying and letting it work in briefly, the chain is immediately ready for use.

A bike chain is exposed to dust, dirt and load on every ride. By first cleaning the chain and then lubricating it correctly, your drivetrain keeps running more pleasantly. Chain Wax Ultimate combines lubrication with low dirt adhesion and is easy to apply during maintenance before your next ride.

Why choose TUNAP SPORTS Chain Wax Ultimate?

• Low friction: the grease-wax matrix and solid lubricants support smooth operation of the bike chain.
• Low dirt adhesion: the wax helps prevent dirt from easily sticking to the lubricated chain.
• Good adhesion: the lubricant stays firmly on the chain.
• Protection against corrosion: the formula helps protect metal chain parts.
• Two ways to apply: choose the spray for quick application or the dropper bottle for targeted dosing per link.

Which bikes is this chain wax suitable for?

Chain Wax Ultimate is intended for lubricating and maintaining bike chains. The choice between spray and dropper bottle depends mainly on how you want to apply the wax.

• Road bike: for cyclists who value a smooth-running, well-maintained drivetrain.
• Mountain bike: for regular chain maintenance when the bike comes into contact with dust and dirt.
• Gravel bike: for chains that can pick up extra dirt during rides on unpaved roads.
• E-bike: for periodic cleaning and lubrication of the bike chain.
• City bike: for practical maintenance of a bike that is often used for daily journeys.

Spray or dropper bottle: which version should you choose?

Both versions contain Chain Wax Ultimate, but differ in the way they are applied. With the spray, you quickly spread the wax over the chain while turning the pedals backwards. The dropper bottle is suitable when you want to apply the wax specifically to individual links.

• Choose the spray when you want to treat the chain quickly and evenly.
• Choose the dropper bottle when you want to dose the wax precisely per link.

Clean. Lube. Protect.

Chain Wax Ultimate fits into the regular TUNAP Sports maintenance routine:

• Clean: first remove coarse contamination and remaining dirt with a suitable chain cleaner, such as Tunap Sports Drive Cleaner.
• Lube: apply Chain Wax Ultimate evenly to the cleaned chain.
• Protect: the wax protects the chain against corrosion and wear.

Instructions for use

1. First remove coarse contamination from the chain with a chain cleaner.
2. Shake Chain Wax Ultimate vigorously for 10 to 15 seconds.
3. Using the spray? Aim the nozzle at the chain. Using the dropper bottle? Position the dropper tip above the chain links.
4. Apply the wax while turning the pedals backwards once or twice. Make sure the entire chain has gone round once and been lubricated.
5. Let the chain wax work in for 5 to 10 seconds.
6. Then wipe the chain lightly with a cloth.
7. Repeat the treatment if necessary.
