Scope R4.G Disc Wheelset

The Scope R4.G (Race series) disc brake version is the ultimate, competition-focused Gravel wheelset within Scope's high-end Race series. The letter 'G' stands specifically for Gravel. This wheelset combines an aerodynamically optimised 45 mm rim profile – derived directly from the top model in the Artech series – with an extremely wide, hookless rim. The R4.G is built to deliver maximum speed, control and comfort on unpaved tracks. Thanks to upgrades such as premium steel Sapim CX-Ray spokes and the ultralight 36T Diamond Ratchet SL hub system, the set delivers top performance in tough gravel races and daily training alike.

Features

• Weight: Just 1439 grams for the complete set, which is very light for an aerodynamic 45 mm gravel wheelset.
• Rim profile: 45 mm deep carbon rims with an extra-wide external width of 38 mm and an internal width of no less than 28 mm.
• Rim type (Hookless): The rim is hookless, which means this wheelset is compatible only with tubeless or tubeless-ready tyres. Traditional road tyres with an inner tube must not be fitted.
• Tyre compatibility: Suitable for wide gravel tyres from 35 mm to 65 mm. The aerodynamics are optimally tuned for a 40 mm to 45 mm tyre.
• Maximum tyre pressure: Limited to a maximum of 4.0 bar / 58 psi due to the hookless construction.
• Weight limit: There is no rider weight limit (No weight limit).
• Hubs & Drivetrain: Scope R-series hubs fitted with the high-quality 36T Diamond Ratchet SL engagement system and premium SKF bearings.
• Sealing: Equipped with a mechanical Labyrinth sealing system that keeps mud, water and dust out of the bearings.
• Axle system & Brakes: Suitable for thru axles of TA 100 x 12 mm front and TA 142 x 12 mm rear, with Centerlock disc brake mounting.
• Spokes: Built with premium Sapim CX-Ray Aero spokes with internal nipples (21 spokes front, 24 spokes rear).
