ENVE SES Disc Pro Rear

The ENVE SES Disc PRO rear wheel is the absolute, uncompromising aerodynamic masterpiece of ENVE's ultra-high-end PRO line. This fully enclosed carbon lenticular wheel (disc wheel) has been developed specifically for elite time triallists and triathletes chasing precious seconds at the highest speeds. Where traditional full disc rear wheels are heavy and fall short aerodynamically with modern tyre widths, the SES Disc PRO has been redesigned from the ground up. The result is a feather-light, lenticular-shaped time trial wheel that offers maximum rolling efficiency and aerodynamic dominance at WorldTour level.

The construction is handmade in the USA and uses an advanced, patented carbon laminate with high-modulus carbon fibres to achieve an ambitious weight target without sacrificing stiffness. What makes this wheel unique is that it is fully aerodynamically tuned to the modern standard in the peloton: 28 mm wide road tyres. By strategically widening the rim across its entire width – within the physical limits of frame and derailleur clearance – this model generates an aerodynamic advantage of no less than 0.69 watts compared to ENVE's previous generation of full disc rear wheels. The heart of the wheel features INNERDRIVE™ PRO hub internals with Grade 5 PRO ceramic bearings, ensuring minimal mechanical resistance when every watt counts.

• Weight: Just 1030 grams (including tubeless valve), a whopping 200 grams lighter than the previous generation, making it one of the absolute lightweights among full disc rear wheels.
• Construction: Fully enclosed, lenticular (lens-shaped) carbon construction, handmade in Ogden, Utah (USA). The internal spokes are structurally bonded together to guarantee an extremely stiff wheel for maximum power transfer during hard changes of pace.
• Rim profile: An optimised internal rim width of 22 mm, with a subtle 0.5 mm hooked rim edge for extreme reliability.
• Rim bed (Tubeless): Fully Tubeless Ready design without the need for tubeless rim tape. This ensures an airtight, lighter construction and a perfect tyre fit.
• Tyre compatibility: Designed exclusively for tubeless (and tubeless-ready) tyres. Fully optimised aerodynamically and mechanically for 27 mm to 28 mm tyres, with a minimum permitted tyre size of 25 mm and a maximum tyre pressure of 100 PSI (6.8 bar).
• Hub & Drive: Ultra-high-end INNERDRIVE™ PRO hub internals with a weight-optimised 40-tooth ratchet system (maximum 9 degrees of engagement) and a smooth-running, light ratchet spring to minimise drag while freewheeling. Equipped with Grade 5 PRO ceramic bearings in hardened stainless steel races.
• Axle system & Brakes: Specifically designed for modern disc brake time trial bikes with a standard 12 x 142 mm thru axle rear hub and a reliable Center Lock disc rotor mount.
• Cassette compatibility: Fully prepared for the fastest 11- and 12-speed road groupsets and readily available with a Shimano HG, SRAM XDR or Campagnolo N3W freehub body.
