ENVE SES 3.4 Disc Wheelset

The ENVE SES 3.4 wheelset is a performance-oriented, ultra-light and aerodynamic "one-wheel quiver" premium carbon wheelset from the prestigious Smart ENVE System (SES) top line. These wheels have been developed specifically as the ultimate all-rounder for modern road racing, demanding climbing rides and fast gravel sectors. Where the Foundation line focuses on accessible all-road performance, the SES 3.4 pushes the boundaries with an optimised laminate, asymmetric rim depths and maximum aerodynamic efficiency at World Tour level.

The construction is based on a carbon rim handmade in the USA with a wind tunnel-optimised design: a 39 mm deep profile at the front for maximum crosswind stability, combined with a 43 mm deep profile at the rear for superior aerodynamics and power transfer. What makes this wheelset unique is the combination of a wide 25 mm internal width with ENVE's patented Wide Hookless Bead technology. This extra-wide, hookless rim edge drastically reduces the risk of pinch flats (snakebites). The SES 3.4 is built around the absolute top-class ENVE INNERDRIVE™ Premium hubs. These hubs use a feather-light, oversized, 100% custom ratchet system that guarantees an unrivalled direct response, minimal rolling resistance and exceptional durability in the toughest race conditions.

• Weight: Just 1380 grams per pair (tubeless ready, including tape and valves), which is extremely light, responsive and competitive for an aerodynamic all-terrain wheelset.
• Construction: 100% handmade premium carbon with ENVE's exclusive Molded Spoke Holes. Equipped with aerodynamic straight-pull spokes for a superior stiffness-to-weight ratio and optimal stability.
• Rim profile: Asymmetric and aerodynamically differentiated rim depths (39 mm front / 43 mm rear) with an internal width of 25 mm and an external width of 32 mm.
• Rim bed (Hookless): Fully hookless (straight-sidewall), tubeless-only design. This ensures a perfectly smooth transition between the tyre and the rim edge, benefiting aerodynamics and rolling resistance.
• Tyre compatibility: Designed exclusively for tubeless (and tubeless-ready) tyres from a minimum of 27 mm. Fully aerodynamically optimised for modern 27 mm to 28 mm road tyres, but widely usable up to 50 mm gravel tyres.
• Hub & Drive: Ultra-high-end ENVE INNERDRIVE™ Premium Road hubset with an oversized ratchet drive system (interchangeable up to 100T) and high-quality steel bearings with the automatic Perfect Preload system.
• Axle systems & Brakes: Fully designed for modern disc brake thru axles (12 x 100 mm front and 12 x 142 mm rear) with a reliable Center Lock disc rotor mount.
• Cassette compatibility: Fully compatible with the latest high-end groupsets and available on request with a Shimano HG, SRAM XDR or Shimano MicroSpline (12-speed) freehub body.
