ENVE G SES 4.5 Disc Wheelset

The ENVE G SES 4.5 wheelset is a performance-oriented, aerodynamically optimised and extremely versatile premium carbon gravel wheelset from the specialist G SES (Gravel Smart ENVE System) collection. These wheels have been developed specifically to bring the aerodynamic dominance of ENVE's legendary road wheels to the full spectrum of gravel riding. Where traditional gravel rims lose sight of aerodynamics with wide tyres, the G SES 4.5 combines serious wind tunnel advantages with agile handling and the necessary robustness for rough off-road use.

The construction is based on a carbon rim handmade in the USA with an asymmetric, wind tunnel-optimised profile: a 49 mm deep rim at the front for predictable crosswind stability, paired with a 55 mm deep rim at the rear for superior airflow management. What makes this wheelset unique is the extreme internal rim width of no less than 30 mm (i30). This gives high-volume gravel tyres a perfectly rounded shape, adds extra stability to the tyre in corners and lets you benefit from superior grip and comfort at low tyre pressure. The G SES 4.5 is built around the robust ENVE INNERDRIVE™ Premium hubs, equipped with an oversized steel ratchet system and the automatic Perfect Preload system for maximum durability in mud, dust and tough off-road conditions.

• Weight: Approximately 1565 grams per pair (tubeless ready, including tape and valves), which is a very sharp and competitive weight for a deep, aerodynamic carbon gravel wheelset.
• Construction: 100% carbon rim handmade in Utah (USA) with ENVE's patented Molded Spoke Holes. The wheels are built with reliable Sapim CX-Ray spokes (24 front and rear) for a stiff and durable construction.
• Rim profile: Aerodynamically differentiated rim depths (49 mm front / 55 mm rear) with an impressive internal width of 30 mm.
• Rim bed (Hookless): Fully hookless (straight-sidewall), tubeless-only design. Features an extra-thick 3.8 mm Wide Hookless Bead™ rim edge that acts as a bumper to drastically reduce the risk of pinch flats (snakebites) and rim damage from hard impacts.
• Tyre compatibility: Designed exclusively for tubeless and tubeless-ready gravel tyres from a minimum of 40 mm. Fully optimised aerodynamically and mechanically for modern high-volume gravel tyres between 44 mm and 52 mm wide.
• Hub & Drive: ENVE INNERDRIVE™ Premium hubs with an oversized 42 mm steel ratchet drive system. Equipped with high-quality bearings that are automatically kept at the correct preload thanks to the Perfect Preload system.
• Axle system & Brakes: Designed for standard disc brake thru axles (12 x 100 mm front and 12 x 142 mm rear) with a reliable Center Lock disc rotor mount.
• Cassette compatibility: Widely compatible with the latest gravel drivetrains and readily available with a Shimano HG, SRAM XDR or Campagnolo N3W freehub body.
