The Colnago Y1Rs is Colnago's ultimate aero bike: a speed-focused superbike designed for riders who want to cut through the wind. Marking a radical shift in design, it deliberately pushes the limits of the UCI rules to deliver maximum watt savings on flatter, fast courses.

Developed through extensive wind tunnel testing, the Y1Rs is the most streamlined road bike Colnago has ever produced, with a frame design that optimises airflow around the bottles and reduces the frontal area by no less than 19%. The distinctive CC.Y1 "gull-wing" cockpit and bayonet steerer guide the air efficiently around the front end, saving an impressive 20 to 25 watts at 50 km/h. With 3.5% higher frame stiffness for explosive sprints, the innovative DEFY seatpost design for extra vertical compliance and a reliable BSA bottom bracket, the Y1Rs offers the ultimate balance between uncompromising aerodynamics and pure efficiency.
